Do I need prior experience with animals?
Not at all! We provide our training and guidance for all volunteer roles. Whether you’re a seasoned animal caregiver or brand new to animal rescue, there’s a place for you here.
Can I complete community service hours with Rooted in Love Rescue & Sanctuary?
Yes, we’re happy to support community service requirements for schools, clubs, or other organizations. Just let us know in advance so we can provide any necessary documentation.
How does my volunteering make a difference?
Every hour you spend volunteering helps us help them! By providing assistance, maintaining our sanctuary, or assisting with events, you’re directly contributing to their well-being and supporting our mission.
RILR aims to place rescued animals in safe, approved homes whenever it is medically and physically safe to do so. However, if an animal at risk cannot be safely rehomed, they will reside in our sanctuary building and pastures.
