Is Fostering Right for Me?
Do I need land or a barn?
It depends on the animal. Some smaller animals like rabbits or fowl can be fostered in a backyard setup. Larger animals like horses or goats need pasture and shelter.
What if the animal gets sick?
We cover all veterinary costs. Just give us a call and we will coordinate care immediately.
Can I adopt my foster animal?
Absolutely! Foster families get first priority if they want to adopt. Many of our best matches started as fosters.
How long is the commitment?
It varies — some fosters are a few weeks while an animal heals, others may be a few months. We will discuss the expected timeline upfront.
