Sweetheart is a 5-year-old Holland White heritage turkey hen with a big personality. She’s spunky, talkative, and loves interacting with people!
Sweetheart does have a strong habit of eating eggs—including her own, so she would thrive best in a home where she’s part of a flock of turkeys kept as pets rather than for egg production. If given the chance to free-range, she will eagerly seek out eggs to snack on.
While Sweetheart can coexist with other birds, she has a tendency to bully chickens, ducks and sometimes guinea fowl if they wander too close to her space. Because of this, she would do best in a setup where she can enjoy life with other turkeys or have her own area.
Sweetheart is a lively hen with lots of character who would make a fun and entertaining companion for the right home!
