Meet Kel, a 2.5 year old Blue Cottonpatch gander goose. Kel is a friendly and social goose who gets along well with other male geese. He loves swimming and honking around the property with his flock. He coexists peacefully with chickens, turkeys, ducks, guinea fowl, and other geese. When the females are nesting and raising their goslings, Kel steps in as a protector without showing aggression toward people.
He would make a wonderful companion for another goose or a colorful addition to any flock. Kel is not aggressive toward adults or children and generally keeps to himself and his flock. If you’re looking for a goose to help deter predators, Kel is your guy! Just keep in mind—he is loud!
