An Evening of Mystery, Masks & Meaning

Get ready to lose yourself in a night filled with mystery, masks, and unforgettable elegance. Love Unmasked 2026 brings animal lovers and rescue supporters together for a beautiful evening celebrating compassion, second chances, and the animals of Rooted In Love Rescue & Sanctuary.

This gala is far more than a night out. It is an opportunity to directly support our nonprofit animal welfare organization and help provide a safe, loving home to animals in need. With a special focus on pigs and farm animals, our sanctuary cares for pigs, horses, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, sheep, goats, rabbits, and others who have been abandoned, surrendered, neglected, medically fragile, elderly, or simply in need of a place to belong.

Every ticket purchased helps provide nutritious food, safe shelter, veterinary care, rehabilitation, individualized support, and lifelong sanctuary to the animals who depend on us. When you attend, reserve a table, or sponsor the gala, you become part of each rescue story and help make another second chance possible.

Behind every mask is a story. Behind every rescue is a second chance. Behind every animal we save is a community of people who cared enough to help.

Whether you have followed our rescue for years or are just discovering our mission, we would be honored to celebrate with you. Gather your friends, plan a date night, bring your family, or reserve a table—and come unmask your love for rescue with us.

About Rooted In Love Rescue & Sanctuary

Rooted In Love Rescue & Sanctuary, a division of Seeded Faith Farm Rescue, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization located in Almont, Michigan. We are dedicated to rescuing, protecting, and providing lifelong sanctuary to animals in need.

Our mission is rooted in compassion, second chances, and the belief that every animal deserves safety, dignity, proper care, and a place to belong. Our sanctuary is home to pigs, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, rabbits, and other animals who have come to us through surrender, abandonment, neglect, medical hardship, age-related needs, or circumstances in which their families could no longer safely care for them.

Many animals need more than temporary placement. They need rehabilitation, veterinary care, specialized housing, patient socialization, safe introductions, and, in many cases, a permanent sanctuary home. Every ticket purchased helps us provide food, shelter, veterinary care, rehabilitation, sanctuary, and a lifetime of love.

Where Animal Rescue and Human Connection Meet

Our vision reaches far beyond animal rescue. As Rooted In Love continues to grow, one of our most important goals is to create a deeper connection between our sanctuary and children and families involved in Michigan’s foster care system.

We are working toward a dedicated educational and community-centered portion of the sanctuary where foster children, foster parents, adoptive families, caregivers, and individuals with special needs can safely experience the farm, interact with animals, learn new skills, and simply have a peaceful place to connect.

Future programming will include meaningful, hands-on experiences such as animal care and husbandry, feeding and grooming, learning about rescue and responsible ownership, incubating and raising poultry, caring for goats and other farm animals, educational workshops, and supervised farm visits.

For children who have experienced instability, loss, trauma, or major life transitions, animals can offer something incredibly powerful: a nonjudgmental presence, consistency, and a reason to slow down and connect. Our goal is to offer trauma-informed, therapeutic, non-clinical farm experiences where children and families can build confidence, responsibility, empathy, trust, and positive memories together.

Building for the Future

The continued expansion of our sanctuary will allow us to serve both animals and people in a much greater way. Pig City, expanded pastures, additional shelters, quarantine and medical recovery areas, food and supply storage, and a future educational and community space will help us rescue more animals while safely welcoming more children, families, volunteers, and community groups.

Pig City will provide dedicated spaces for rescued pigs needing quarantine, medical recovery, senior care, safe introductions, and permanent sanctuary placement. At the same time, our educational expansion will create a place where their stories become powerful teaching tools about compassion, responsibility, resilience, and second chances.

Our long-term vision includes partnerships with foster care agencies, foster families, community organizations, schools, special-needs programs, and professionals who serve children and families throughout Michigan.

Rescue. Heal. Educate. Connect.

We believe rescue can reach far beyond the animal being saved. Sometimes an animal who has experienced fear, abandonment, or uncertainty can form an extraordinary connection with a child who understands those feelings in a way words cannot always explain.

We are building a sanctuary where animals receive the second chances they deserve and where children and families can experience compassion, connection, learning, healing, and hope—a place where rescue stories become connections, compassion becomes education, and both animals and people are reminded that their story is not over.
